Flag Football

GYS flag football is offered every fall for 1st through 6th graders in the Gilbert Community School District. All teams are coached by parent volunteers. Practices are held at various fields around Gilbert and schedules will be communicated by coaches. The teams are part of the Central Iowa Recreation League (CIRL). The league includes Ames, Colo-Nesco, Collins Maxwell, Gilbert, Nevada, Roland-Story and South Hamilton. Games will be held at the Gilbert Intermediate Football Field and in other CIRL communities.
